Shoulder surgery is often necessary for many common shoulder problems. Procedures can range from minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures to more traditional open surgeries using a scalpel and sutures.1 Arthroscopic surgery is a type of surgery where instruments are inserted through keyhole-sized incisions in your shoulder.

Dr. Eichinger recently gave a lecture to the Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation titled: Shoulder Instability in the patient with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Thank you for the Bobby Jones CSF for the opportunity to speak and congratulations on all of the help and support they give patients!
Dr. Eichinger delivered a lecture during a webinar for Arthroscopy Association of North America discussing complex shoulder instability with bone loss on the glenoid. Dr. Eichinger is an expert in shoulder instability including the management of failed instability surgery and glenoid bone loss.
Dr. Eichinger lectured on Arthroscopic and Open Shoulder Stability Surgical Treatment at the AANA (Arthroscopy Association of North America) 5th Annual Fellow and Chief Residents Arthroscopy Course in Chicago, Illinois at the AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons) Orthopedic Learning Center.
